Sally Lloyd, BScDH, Registered Dental Hygienist and owner of Lifetime Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic, is a graduate of the dental hygiene school at Dalhousie University, and University of Alberta. Sally is originally from Nova Scotia.

Sally has additional training and is able to prescribe and treat patients under nitrous oxide (laughing gas). For individuals who have had a difficult dental experience in the past or who are nervous this can be a welcome option for their appointments. She is also an authorized dental hygienist prescriber in Alberta and as such is able to prescribe a limited number of prescription medications.

An active member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology with training in myofunctional therapy, Sally can identify tongue thrusting habits, abnormal swallow patterns, thumb and/or finger sucking habits and other myofunctional disorders.

Attending and participating in continuing education is important to Sally, as is giving back to the community locally and globally. Visit some of her photos from the Dental Mission to Venezuela that she went on with KIA – Kindness in Action – a volunteer based service group in Alberta.
